Father of murderer sentenced to prison for drug trafficking

The father of a convicted murderer has been sentenced to prison time for possessing heroin intended to be sold on the streets.
Temorshah Hafizi, 46, was convicted in December 2018 of the drug offence and threatening an Ottawa police officer.
Police laid those charges against the father of five after gleaning evidence from a 2012 wiretap as part of a murder probe in which his son was the prime suspect.
