Farming eels

School’s out but Postmedia’s Tom Spears continues to look at the science of our seasons. Today we catch up with the Ottawa Riverkeeper, who has just been dumping a truckload of fresh-caught, squirming eels into the water.
There are no fish farms for raising eels, which is why anyone at Petrie Island Wednesday may have noticed people in a boat dumping slithery, slippery fish from buckets into the Ottawa River.
