Falling temperatures, wind and a rainfall warning

There’s going to be rain today – and lots of it.
Environment Canada has issued an official rainfall warning for the Ottawa area. Precipitation will continue through the night and into Saturday, bringing somewhere in the vicinity of 30-50 mm. Rain will be heavy at times and may cause localized flooding.
The ground, still partially frozen in some areas, will not likely absorb all of the rainfall.
