Sure, it’s just college kids having a boozy Friday night.
But at Western University Dr. Evelyn Vingilis sees a binge drinking differently.
“There are a lot of serious health and safety risks,” she says, “and No. 1 is death.”
“It is actually quite a serious problem,” she adds, perhaps unnecessarily. Vingilis, who teaches in the department of family medicine, does research in risky behaviour.
