Excuses, excuses as traffic cop hears some doozies

It’s lame excuse Thursday!
Const. Jon Hall heard some doozies while handing out tickets Thursday morning in a 40 km/h zone near Louis Riel High School on Bearbrook Road that commuters like to use to zip around traffic.
The city police traffic section laid nine speeding charges for lead-foots going between 71 and 85 km/h in the 40 km/h school zone.
