Escapade EDM music fest is Lansdowne bound after losing Raceway location

Here comes the “drop” that no one expected.
The massive Heineken Escapade Music Festival, an annual party that attracts crowds of 30,000 for a weekend of bass-pounding electronic dance music, is moving to Lansdowne Park after it was pushed out of its planned location at Rideau Carleton Raceway.
Escapade will squeeze into the Glebe on the weekend of June 24-25, which already sees an Ottawa Redblacks football game on Friday night and an Ottawa Fury soccer game on Saturday afternoon.
