Ellis: An ode to Bella's Bistro – warmth and sumptuous cuisine won't be forgotten

One of the gifts I received for Christmas this year was Volume 2 of the book Lost Ottawa by David McGee. Words on the cover of the book describe it as “the unwritten history of the Nation’s Capital and a loving tribute to the power and beauty of everyday life.” In my opinion, the story of you, Bella, your family and Bella’s Bistro deserve star billing in the history of our city.
I have been a patron of your restaurant since you opened in 1995 and I have been trying to cra
