Election primer: Ottawa Vanier

The riding, with a large Franco-Ontarian population has been one of the most solidly Liberal in the country in recent years. It contains the neighbourhoods of Vanier, Lowertown, Overbrook, Sandy Hill and New Endinburgh as well as the tony Rockcliffe Park.
