Eastbound Queensway snarled by crash under Harmer pedestrian bridge

Paramedics were assessing patients on the scene of a crash on the eastbound Highway 417 near Parkdale Avenue just before noon Friday.
They were called to a two-vehicle collision at 11:41 a.m. that left one of the vehicles perched on the wall of the median.
It happened right below the soon-to-be-demolished Harmer Avenue pedestrian bridge and traffic was backed up to almost Preston Street.
No word on injuries. The incident is now listed as cleared by the city’s traffic centre.
