Early morning crash causes road closure, power outage

A crash early Sunday morning caused the closure of Walkely Road from Springland Drive to Riverside Drive. Northbound Riverside is also closed from Revelstoke Drive to Walkely. Ottawa police report the closure should be in effect until approximately noon today.
A power outage in the Walkley, Riverside and Revelstoke area is also being blamed on the crash. Hydro crews are on the scene and estimates power should return at 10 a.m. Sunday morning. The outage is affecting 529 customers.
