Drug users wait eight minutes on average at health unit's injection site

People needing Ottawa Public Health’s supervised injection service waited up to eight minutes on average at the Clarence Street clinic in the first three weeks of operation, the health unit says.
But Andrew Hendriks, the health unit’s director of health protection, believes the more important statistic is how many people come to the building intending to use the injection service but leave before going through the intake process.
