Driver flees crash leaving bumper (with plate) behind

A 49-year-old Kingston man is facing charges after police allege that he crashed his pickup into a utility pole then fled the scene, leaving his bumper — licence plate still attached — behind.
Officers didn’t need it to track him down, though.
Summoned by alert witnesses, they quickly found the rest of the vehicle and spotted the driver walking nearby, Kingston police said in a press release about the incident early Sunday near the intersection of Portsmouth Avenue and Bath Roa
