A dramatic emergency exercise held Monday night to test the Ottawa airport’s emergency response plan has been deemed “a success.”
The airport authority said Tuesday the exercise scenario involved a vehicle attack and perpetrator running through the terminal with a weapon causing multiple casualties, and culminated with the assailant threatening to detonate an explosive device.
