Growing up in Newfoundland, Walter Murray learned to sew at the age of 7, wore his mother’s high heels and loved to drape fabric around himself.Almost 40 years later, sewing and fabric are still a big part of his life — and so is a smart pair of heels.That’s because they’re key elements of his drag-queen alter ego, Bella Straight.
