Do bears hibernate? We’ll have to sleep on that one for a bit.
A story published in Wednesday’s paper told of University of Western Ontario professor Alan MacEachern’s research into how late-19th-century Canadians relied on bears and their shadows, rather than groundhogs and theirs, to apprise them each Feb. 2 of spring’s approach.
