Disabled Gananoque man's electricity cut off

GANANOQUE — A disabled thalidomide victim claims the local electricity distributor cut off his power without proper notice despite the fact he had been making payments on his unpaid balance.
Terry Bolton, who lives just west of town, said Eastern Ontario Power cut off his electricity on June 14, causing about $350 worth of food in his refrigerator and freezer to spoil.
