Maybe, just maybe, this year’s municipal election will finally offer Ottawa voters a choice about how much they want to pay in taxes and how they want that money spent.
In the last two elections, Mayor Jim Watson has been elected without a serious challenge and city councillors have mostly acted like members of the Watson Party.
