Denley: Five things Doug Ford needs to do – and fast

Although Ontario’s madcap election might not have seemed like the easy part, for incoming premier Doug Ford, it was. Election promises, especially vague ones, are easy to make. Real decisions are tough and Ford must address some big ones right away.
Here are the top five things he needs to do:
Create a realistic deficit-elimination plan
Ford managed to skate through the election without really having to get specific about what his platform will mean to the big picture on revenue, spending
