Deep freeze passes; back to … winter

The icy grip of this winter’s deep freeze 2.0 has loosened. Now we’re back to a slightly chillier version of the usual Ottawa winter, with snow on the horizon and temperatures gradually rising through the week.
Ottawa awoke on Sunday to -27 as the sun peeked over the horizon, and under sunny skies, the temperatures climbed to 16 around 3 p.m. before sliding back to an expected overnight low of -25.
But rejoice, Ottawa! Monday is was forecast to bring mainly sunny skies, a high of -13
