Crime wave subsides in Barrhaven but transit questions remain

A wave of break-ins at homes in Barrhaven appears to have moved on, leaving the crime rate similar to the rate in other neighbourhoods, police and the area’s city councillor told residents Monday evening.
About 100 residents came to the Cedarview Golf and Country Club to hear about crime, traffic and safety in their area, some of them drawn by a recent jump in the number of residential break-ins.
