Collision with fire hydrant sends water pouring into the street

Parts of Jeanne D’Arc Boulevard were closed Wednesday afternoon to allow emergency officials to deal with flooding after a car struck a fire hydrant in Orléans.
The Ottawa Police Service was investigating the collision at the intersection of Jeanne D’Arc Boulevard and Hunter’s Run Drive. 
Jeanne D’Arc Blvd. was closed southbound from Woodcliffe Private to Hunter’s Run Drive, and northbound from Boyer Road to Woodcliffe Private.
