Colin White out six to eight weeks with broken wrist

Ottawa Senators rookie centre Colin White suffered a broken left wrist in Monday’s 6-2 pre-season victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs and will be lost for six to eight weeks.
It’s a crushing blow for White, who stood a decent chance of making the Senators opening day roster due as Derick Brassard recovers from shoulder surgery.
White had surgery Tuesday morning.
