Clear, sunny and cold Christmas in forecast, following Monday flurries

Youngsters going to bed on Christmas Eve Monday may worry that clouds and flurries will hamper Santa’s delivery of their Super Smash Bros. Ultimate video games and Hatchimals Hatchibabies, but the inclement weather is expected to clear by midnight, bringing sunny skies and, hopefully, good cheer on Christmas Day.
Environment Canada is calling for a 60 per cent chance of snow flurries on Monday, with a high of -6 C in the day and -17 C overnight, with winds picking up to 15 km/h.
