Cleanup continues after heating oil spill in Hull district
Cleanup crews remain on the scene in Gatineau Saturday following a spill of a few hundred litres of heating oil during a delivery Friday evening.
Quebec environment ministry officials originally estimated the spill at at the Jos-Montferrand building, near the intersection of Laurier and Hôtel-de-Ville streets to be between 700 and 1,200 litres.
But onsite inspections Saturday led to a lower estimate of 200-300 litres.
