City auditor general wants to inspect Stage 2 LRT

City auditor general Ken Hughes says he wants to audit the Stage 2 LRT procurement.
During an audit committee meeting on Monday, Hughes announced he’s recommending adding the audit to his upcoming work plan after receiving calls and emails from the public and council members.
To do the work, the auditor general would have to push off an audit of travel and hospitality. That proposed audit would come back to the audit committee and council for approval in 2020.
