Cirque du Soleil's 'absolutely amazing' Corteo show returns to Ottawa

In late 2015, Marie-Christine Ménard-Bergeron thought her run as a globetrotting acrobat was over.
After more than four years as a Cirque du Soleil performer in Los Angeles, Germany and then throughout South America, Ménard-Bergeron bid the famed theatrical production company goodbye. Averse to Canadian winters, Ménard-Bergeron, who grew up in Brossard just outside of Montreal, moved to Sydney, Australia.
“I had a normal life again,” she recalls. “I ha
