Christopher Vandette wins Quebec Amateur men's golf championship

Christopher Vandette shot an even-par 72 on Thursday and came from behind to win the Quebec Amateur men’s golf championship at the Eagle Creek Golf Course in Dunrobin.
Playing in the final group as overnight leader Marc-Olivier Plasse, Vandette, a Beaconsfield resident playing out of the Summerlea club in suburban Montreal, made up the three-shot deficit he had at the start of the day and won by two strokes with a four-round total of 7-under-par 281.
