Charges laid in suspected meth cook in Centretown park

A 40-year-old Ottawa man is facing production-related charges after police busted a suspected meth cooking operation at a public park picnic table last week.
He faced similar charges in February after police stumbled on an apparent meth lab in a Lowertown apartment.
Laurence Wheatcroft is charged with unlawful production of a Schedule I substance, possession or production of items used to produce or traffic Schedule I and III substances and breach of recognizance.
