Charges laid in string of burglaries, one targeting guns

A 30-year-old Ottawa man is charged in five daytime burglaries in the Navan, North Gower, Richmond and Leitrim areas this fall, including an incident in which guns were allegedly targeted and trafficked.
Joshua Wales-Saunders is to appear in court Thursday by video link, police said in release Wednesday.
He’s charged with theft under $5,000 and failure to comply with a probation order in the first incident Sept. 12  on Boundary Road near Mitch Owens Road.
