Cash-strapped Sit With Me Rescue group stops taking in new dogs

A volunteer rescue group that saves hundreds of dogs a year that might be otherwise unadoptable said it’s had to stop taking new animals as it battles back from $25,000 in bills while still caring for pups that need costly surgeries.
