Carleton workers back on picket lines after marathon mediation adjourns

Carleton University support workers remain on the picket lines after a marathon 19-hour mediation session adjourned at 3:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
Both sides said mediation did not officially break off and the union and the university are looking to schedule a next meeting. 
“The parties worked into the early hours, however, talks were adjourned. The mediator will follow up with both parties about continuing the process. The university is committed to returning to the bargaining table
