Carleton University, striking staff to resume 'confidential' talks

Carleton University and its striking support staff are headed back to the bargaining table in a bid to end an increasingly bitter strike, but neither side will be talking publicly about negotiations.
“In the best interest of the Carleton community, the university and CUPE Local 2424 have agreed to meet to continue discussions in an attempt find a resolution and put an end to the labour dispute,” according to a statement posted on Carleton’s website Friday.
