Carleton University and striking workers accuse each other of 'untrue' statements

Carleton University and the union representing nearly 850 striking support staff are accusing each other of making “untrue” statements, even as both sides expressed a desire to return to the bargaining table.
The university issued a response Thursday to public statements made by CUPE 2424 president Jerrett Clark, who announced Wednesday the union’s desire to return to negotiations, saying the union had asked for more dates to continue talks.
