Candlelight vigil held for bus crash victims

An outdoor candlelight vigil was held Friday evening at the Eva James Memorial Community Centre in Bridlewood to remember the victims of the Route 269 bus crash on Jan. 11.
Bruce Thomlinson, 56, Judy Booth, 57, and Anja Van Beek, 65, were killed and 23 others were injured two weeks ago when an OC Transpo bus slammed into the Westboro Transitway station.
Friday’s ceremony was to be followed by an indoor community gathering with refreshments and an opportunity to sign the book of condolences
