Canadian Naval Security Team to conduct training with Republic of Fiji maritime forces

The Naval Security Team of the Royal Canadian Navy has sent a dozen sailors to train with Fiji’s navy. The Canadian team left August 11 from Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt, BC. to travel to Fiji. Training with the Republic of Fiji Navy wraps next week and the sailors will return Aug. 20.
The training is part of the RCN’s POSEIDON CUTLASS series of deployments.
