Canadian military sends equipment to Argentina which is searching for its missing submarine

Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan says Canada has contributed some equipment to Argentina, which is involved in a desperate search for the missing Argentine sub.
A Challenger jet left Halifax last night with equipment, Sajjan noted on his Twitter account.
The Department of National Defence and the Canadian military were responding to a request from Argentina, he added.
The equipment, according to the DND, is the following: “Lithium hydroxide (LiOH) curtains, which can absorb CO2.
