Canada's cat overpopulation 'crisis' is under control — for now

Canadians have gained the upper hand on managing the cat population “crisis,” but their efforts are not happening quickly enough to see the problem disappear entirely, according to a national report released Thursday.
The Cats in Canada Report 2017, produced by the Canadian Federation of Humane Societies, studied data from 2011 to 2017 on “Canada’s cat overpopulation crisis,” and underlined the need for more sterilization campaigns to adequately control cat numbers.
