Burning car threatens Old Ottawa East home

Firefighters doused a vehicle fire that threatened to spread to a home on Letchworth Road in Old Ottawa East Monday morning.Crews were dispatched to the scene near Clegg and Main streets just before 9 a.m. and were able to quickly douse the fire. The occupants, who needed help to leave, safely escaped.
