Brutally cold temps to rise to 5 C by Sunday
Hang in there, Ottawa.
After record-setting cold weather that had the Ottawa River steaming Friday morning, the forecast is for a relatively balmy high of -8 C and we’ll be thawing out by the weekend.
Friday morning’s low was -21 C but Environment Canada predicted a high of -4 C as a few clouds creep into sunny skies. The overnight low should be -9 C.
