Brrr! Chilly day for wind storm clean-up with a low of -1 C forecast overnight
It’s the chill after the storm.
Ottawa had a wet and wild Sunday, now Monday is forecast to be cool with a high of just 8 C and an overnight low of -1 C.
Environment Canada also predicts a 30 per cent chance of showers and northwest winds at 20 km/h gusting to 40.
That’s nothing compared to Sunday when gusts reached a record-setting 97 km/h, knocking down trees and power lines and leaving thousands without power as 16.4 mm of rain pelted down.
