Bike light vigil planned for Friday for cyclist killed on parkway
Eric Thibault and Natasha Zanolin didn’t know fellow cyclist Junfeng Wu, who died early last Friday morning after he was struck by a taxi van on the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway.
But the pair is organizing a vigil Friday afternoon at the spot where he died to pay tribute to the 40-year-old Ottawa man and raise awareness of the dangers cyclists face and the need for safer cycling infrastructure.
