Be careful on your commute after 46 crashes Friday, police warn

Ottawa police warned motorists to be careful on the commute home for the long weekend Friday.
A total of 46 collisions were reported since 5 a.m., they tweeted at about 2:20 p.m., adding that snow continues to impact travel for everyone so “please be patient and aware of each other as you share the road.”
The City of Ottawa said that the way home should be clearer soon. City crews started removing snowbanks from streets Thursday night and will keep at it over the weekend into ne
