Barrhaven, west-end raids net 3.5 kg of cocaine

Three people face charges after police seized about 3.5 kg of cocaine and $45,000 in cash in two raids Wednesday.
City police say that the guns and gangs unit and the force’s surveillance team launched the investigation earlier this month.
The search warrants were executed Wednesday on Masonbrook Street near Woodroffe Avenue and Longfields Drive in Barrhaven and on Hinchey Avenue, which straddles Mechanicsville and Hintonburg.
