As infrastructure crumbles, councillors warn, transportation committee approves 2018 budget
That Ottawa’s transportation committee passed its draft 2018 budget on Wednesday virtually as presented was hardly a surprise — such thing is de rigueur inside Mayor Jim Watson’s city hall.
Of note, however, was the virtually unanimous view that the condition of roads across the national capital is crappy — and getting crappier.
