April showers arrive to lay groundwork for May flowers, high 19 C

The mercury is forecast to hit 19 C, with periods of rain expected to begin before morning breaks.
Tuesday’s forecast is for increasing cloudiness in the morning with southwest winds at 20 km/h gusting to 40 near noon and a UV index of 5 or moderate.
There’s a 40 per cent chance of evening showers before the rain begins to increase, falling to a low of 7 C.
