Antiques: Weigh scale promises good fortune

Q:  Sentry discount department store opened in Windsor in 1961 and when you entered this Watling Chicago weigh scale along with gum ball machines was the first thing seen.
The scale was hard to resist because of the curiosity of your weight and the answer to the Fortune question, including subjects of love and finance you could select on the dial for five cents.
When the store closed in the early 80’s I purchased the scale. It stands 132 cm in height (52 inches) and is fully working.
