Antiques: Value of field geology laboratory kit is rock solid

Q: Today whilst sorting through my late father’s monumental accumulation, I came across this Letcher blowpipe set that has me flummoxed as to what to do with it. It came from my great-uncle’s, housed in the original wooden box 27 x 12 x 8 cm (10.75 x 4.75 x 3.25 inches). Inside there appears to be all the wee tools and some damage to the label. I’d like to pass it on to someone who would appreciate it. Such a fascinating example of the ingenuity and solid basic science training
