Antiques: Rare time-repeating watch has golden value

Q: This 18 karat gold watch was given to my husband by his paternal grandfather (1874-1944). It chimes the hours and minutes by pressing a button which I think is called a repeater watch.
It measures 5 cm x 8 cm high (2 x 3 inches) and runs. It also has a long stop watch second hand. The inside back is engraved with ‘Repetition a minutes, “Le Phare” Chronographe.’
I have been doing research on my husband’s family and hope the watch age will indicate who it belonged
