Antiques: Piano sets the stage for music and value
Q My brothers and I have inherited a very unique and ornate Pleyel upright piano from our mother's estate. It was a gift to my mother from her father, our grandfather. He purchased it back in the 1920s from his neighbour in Forest Hill, Toronto, who was an art and antique dealer. It stands 132 cm high, 122 cm wide and 61 cm deep (52 x 48 x 24 inches).
