Antiques: Metal items show their mettle

Q I found this small monogrammed decal "car part" while sorting through my father's workshop today. On the underside of the support piece it is stamped Fisher Motor Orillia Canada. It's about 3.8 cm high and 6.3 cm long (1.5 x 2.5 inches). I'm wondering if it's from one of my father's early vehicles – a 1929 Model A.
